DISCOVER God's path to freedom!

Living Free is small group based curriculum that focuses on helping people prevent and overcome life-controlling issues. The materials are biblically-based, Christ-centered, and designed to benefit all church members—challenging them to examine their own lives and equipping them to reach their communities by addressing the heart-felt needs of people.

With its emphasis on developing Christian character it is a powerful group for those who want to be sure to prevent life-controlling problems from developing in their lives, as well as for those who need to overcome a current problem.A life-controlling problem is anything that is keeping you from having a closer relationship with God. It could be an addiction such as food, alcohol, or gambling but it could also be behaviors such as pride, control, or anxiety. This group helps you build a strong foundation with God through His Word, the Holy Spirit, and other people in similar situations.
~ It enhances people's understanding of themselves and others.
~ It helps people bond together in meaningful relationships.
~ It surfaces people for help who may otherwise never seek help.
~ It helps break down the segregation of people in churches, turning "those people" and "our kind of people" into just "us".
~ It helps prepare people to minister to others.

This curriculum is designed to help people strengthen their relationship with their heavenly Father by applying His names to their personal life. Along with helping Christians know God better, it can serve as an evangelistic tool by giving a true picture of God to people who may have a distorted view of Him because of an absent or abusive earthly father who did not or does not provide for them.
This group can also help men who want to be better fathers. Suggested uses include home bible studies, cell groups, Sunday school classes, support groups, and personal enrichment.

Are you fighting fear? We don't know anyone who's not affected by fear these days... That's why this group is essential and includes guidance in the use of Scripture to build faith, biblical coping methods for facing fear, comfort to those facing fear and help for anyone ministering to those who are being controlled or held back by anxiety, fear and worry.

As a person goes through this group they will be able to identify what the Bible has to say about handling the losses of life. To grieve is human; how to grieve Christianly is supernatural. It requires us to invite the Holy Spirit to guide us through the grieving process.
This group also provides guidance in the use of Scripture to help the grieving. It offers biblical coping methods for facing loss and comfort to those who have faced loss. This guide also provides help for anyone ministering to those experiencing a "little death" in life: divorce, loss of job or relationship, etc.
