Prison Break Series
     and Commercial

New Life Church kicked off the Prison Break series on Easter Sunday. A group of the youth met to shoot a commercial for the CW, which is currently airing. The footage chases a group of prisoners escaping obstacles. Policemen chase the men with their faithful cop-canine. The guys successfully break away by jumping into a getaway truck and flee the scene dramatically. The stage of the church has been artistically designed to depict the scene of a prison escape—complete with barbed wire, cell graffiti, and handcuffs. The Prison Break series will focus on the main theme of breaking free from emotional, social, psychological, and spiritual bondage. The next six weeks will be packed with information on breaking free from issues such as guilt, people pleasing, and addiction.

Worship

Music is one of the important parts that God has entrusted to New Life Church for reaching and influencing this generation by bringing an atmosphere of worship to every heart. Our band consists of dedicated people who give their time and energy for growth as musicians, songwriters, and mainly, as WORSHIPERS. That is something we are called to do and we love doing it. God is rising up songwriters within the team and it is getting even more exciting to lead people into His presence with new, fresh songs, which are the results of personal revelations.

New Life Kids' Church

Right now, at New Life Kids' Church, we're learning about the Fruit of the Spirit. Galatians 5:22 says, "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, kindess, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control."

Each week, we focus on a different fruit with the kids. So far, they have learned more about the fruits love, joy, peace, and patience. We not only teach them what these fruits are, but also how they can apply it to their lives, what these fruits mean. For example, for joy, we talked about the difference between joy and happiness: how happiness is a good feeling, but is only temporary, whereas joy lasts through good times or bad.

We teach through crafts, coloring, and puzzles so the learning becomes fun, and so they will remember what they learned.

The True Religion Project - Thank You

On behalf of Pastors Alex and Tanya Klimchuk and New Life Church, the deepest gratitude and thanksgiving is extended to the kind businesses that supplied for the True Religion Project: Andy's Trees and Landscaping, Elite Construction, Exclusive Flooring, Nick's Gyros, and all other businesses and volunteers who provided services on September 15th, 2007; we could not have accomplished this without the donations. Many materials, supplies, and extra help were donated, free of charge, to this project of service. We would like to especially acknowledge these generous services.

Members of New Life joined together, bundled in coats and gloves, on a chilly Saturday, September 15th. The True Religion Project opened a new world of service and thanksgiving for those involved. The cold temperature of the early morning did not stop the works of these faithful members, as they eagerly started on the first project of the day—landscaping. The concrete arrived needing to be maneuvered into the driveway, and the work was cut out for the concreters—primarily the males.  More »

Sunday Service Changes

New Hours

We are finally changing the hours of our Sunday services.

Beginning July 15 our Sunday services will start at 11:15am.
Finally we can go to "Spezia's or something" for brunch after church.

1/2 Time Leadership Camp
June 28-30

This summer a group of about 30 leaders will be spending 3 days in Okoboji. This will be an exciting time of leadership training, brain storming, and reflecting on the first half of the year.

This camp would not be complete if there was no boating, jet skiing, fishing, lots of food and friends. Staying up late and getting up early, because there is so much to do. You don't want to miss it.

Leadership teachings will be done by Speaker Dmitry Nosoreve and of course our Pastors.

Registration is required.
